We have a large kitchen in our historic Grade 2 listed home and we wanted our new kitchen to have a traditional 'National Trust' look. Rhiannon helped us come up with a design that is simultaneously stylish and practical, but rooted in a bygone era - she really understood what we were looking for. She listened to us, and creatively translated our aspirations into design. But she wasn't afraid to challenge us to step out of our comfort zone, and we are so glad we trusted her design instinct. We just love our new kitchen! It's so right for the house and feels as if it's always been there - you can't get more National Trust than that!

I wanted to redesign the bathroom in our new home because although it had some lovely fixtures and fittings such as an original roll top bath, the layout made it uncomfortable and impractical. I was struggling to find a design that would allow me to keep the bath and also have a bigger shower. I enlisted the help of Rhiannon and within minutes of being in the space she had suggested a solution which allowed me to have everything I wanted. Through the whole process she gave practical and affordable solutions to both design and logistic issues. Rather than pushing her own style taste she took time to establish the look I was going for and offered suggestions that were consistent with this.

I was at a complete dead end as to what to do with my lounge, dining room and kitchen (which feed into one another) and had been for ages. We decorated it 6 years ago and so it had got old and tired and I didn’t like anything about any of it! So I asked Rhiannon to come round and see if she could help give me some inspiration and ideas and boy did she!
We knew we wanted a log burner and I knew the kind of look I wanted to go for but didn’t know where to start, or what to put where and most of all where to source things from that fitted the bill, at a price I could afford. She started by giving me a rough guide as to what to put where and why and then sent lots of ideas over of different pieces of furniture and colours etc that she thought would work well. I pretty much followed it all and now our house is completely transformed and I love coming home, thanks to Rhiannon. I think if I could choose one thing that has made a major different it would be the lighting. She advised me on where to have lighting and what kind of styles of light shades to have in the various rooms in order to create different moods. It has gone from what I felt was an old fashioned cottagey look to a modern scandi type look. In the kitchen we just changed a few minor things but it has given it a completely different look so that didn’t cost too much. The dining room is now funky and perfect for entertaining in and the lounge is tranquil haven!
